Tours

The Vergilian Society has offered study programs since 1937.  The tours not only provide enjoyable opportunities to learn more about the ancient world, they help support the other scholarly activities of the Society.  In additional to tours of sites in the ancient Mediterranean, there are also programs based at the Villa Vergiliana, our study center on the Bay of Naples, Italy.

Vergilian Society tours are designed to appeal to the needs of a wide range of travelers including high school and college students and instructors; they are particularly suitable for instructors bringing a group of students. We specifically welcome nonprofessionals interested in the ancient Mediterranean.
