Villa Vergiliana Harry Wilks Study Center of the Vergilian Society

A Study Center in Southern Italy operated by the Vergilian Society

The Villa Vergiliana, named "The Harry Wilks Study Center" in memory of our generous benefactor Harry Wilks, can be your institution's headquarters along the Bay of Naples. It is uniquely situated and designed as a Study Center to host study abroad programs, international conferences and as a home for study tours. Open year round, it is available to institutions for day, week, month, summer or semester long programs.

Individual scholars are welcome to use the Study Center and its modest library with internet access. Whether passing through the region for a few days or needing a base for extended research, the study center is available to members.

For over 50 years, the property, a magnificent three-story villa situated at the northwestern corner of the Bay of Naples, has hosted students and academics in this culturally dynamic region.
